Summary Assessment of e-Governance Projects aimed to conduct a rapid citizen centric assessment, besides collating a baseline database of existing projects which will be listed in a prescribed proforma/format. CSDMS was assigned to assess three eGovernance projects, namely, land records, property registration and transport for Uttarakhand. The assessment involved a user survey of selected (decided by a defined sampling methodology and size and a questionnaire) for assessing the impacts of these projects, analysis of the data through qualitative and statistical methods and presenting a report of the summary assessment. CSDMS, as the empanelled agency has been working closely with Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in this summary assessment.

CSDMS has engaged in addressing key development questions including access to the remotest and most impoverished communities through public access centres and documenting telecentre initiatives across India and internationally under the project titled Catalyzing Online Collaboration and Information Exchanges across the Telecentre Community. Since November 2006, CSDMS has been engaged with telecentre.org of Canada and three key partners from Africa and Latin America to facilitate information and knowledge exchange across the telecentre community through online and offline knowledge sharing and networking activities.

 Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) has been entrusted to host secretariat services for the GKP Network for a period of one year.

 A new secretariat of GKP has become operational at CSDMS office based at Noida, India with effect from 1st May 2010. CSDMS would be providing operational and administrative support to the activities of GKP as a global network
